On a remote island off the south coast of Western Australia, in the rugged Southern Ocean, there lay ancient artifacts - proof of the remains of Aboriginal heritage and safeguards to the secrets of their time. Now, a team of adventurer-researchers, led by archaeologist David Guilfoyle, abalone diver Marc Payne and Aboriginal Elder Doc Reynolds, has embarked on a mission to unravel the secrets of Salisbury Island. Their ambition is to make new discoveries about the island’s thriving ecosystem, which contains many unique species and uncover the ancient Aboriginal artifacts from the caves below. Sounds simple enough, but these treasures have the ultimate bodyguard.
